Keep the buyer or company name with the receipt. If the collector has a separate driver name, keep that too, but do not let a first name on a text message replace the company or buyer details you were given when booking.

The worst time to look for proof is after something feels wrong. Save the receipt as soon as it arrives. Check it while the collection is still fresh in your mind. If the registration, amount or buyer name is wrong, ask for a corrected receipt quickly.
