Match The Name To The Situation
Start with the name on the booking. If it matches the registered keeper, the conversation is simple. If it does not, explain the connection clearly before the pickup. Do not wait until the driver is outside a tight street with traffic building behind them.

Give The Real Pickup Address

If the registered keeper was not the person at the gate, record that plainly. A short note such as "collected from mum's drive, arranged by son" can make the file easier to follow. It also helps separate the person who booked the collection from the person named on older vehicle records.
